Mig Switch alternative 'UnlockSwitch' Faces Backlash for Only Accepting Crypto Payments

A business by the name of 'UnlockSwitch', which produces backup cartridges for the Nintendo Switch, recently held a Q&A on their X/Twitter account and answered some frequently asked questions:

The business revealed that they will only accept cryptocurrency, instead of going through resellers like Mig Switch at launch, to "prevent disappointing customers".

Well, if anything, people expressed disappointment with this decision, with some being completely turned off from buying the product, and some becoming suspicious and accusing UnlockSwitch of being a scam:

They responded to the backlash and doubled down on their decision:

It’s quite straightforward: if you choose not to purchase our products or prefer not to pay with cryptocurrency, you are not obligated to place an order.

UnlockSwitch did state that they might consider working with resellers in the future, but for now, I advise you wait before buying anything from them.
